Yes — Brontë is an Australian fine dining restaurant helmed by Chef Wade Watson. The menu centres on premium Australian beef (including Wagyu), fresh seafood, timeless classic dishes, and a serious wine program drawn from Australian and international producers. It is not a casual dining venue — the approach is refined and rooted in proper culinary technique.
Brontë is pronounced "Brawn-tee" — like the beach south of Bondi in Sydney, Australia, which inspired the name. The two dots above the E (called a diaeresis) indicate that both vowels are pronounced separately. The restaurant's name also intentionally evokes the Brontë literary sisters, adding a layer of cultural depth to the branding.
